Welcome to Uno Consulting (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing or using our website https://www.unoconsulting.in/ (the “Site”) or our admission counseling services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.

1. Services Offered

Uno Consulting provides undergraduate and graduate admission counseling, including but not limited to:

  • Profile evaluation

  • University shortlisting

  • Application planning

  • Essay, resume, and statement guidance

  • Submission assistance

  • Post-offer decision counseling

We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or discontinue any service at our discretion.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use our services. By using our site or services, you represent that you have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information as requested

  • Not impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity

  • Use the site for lawful purposes only

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You acknowledge that your account (if any) is personal to you, and you are responsible for safeguarding your access credentials.

4. Fees & Payment

  • All fees for services will be communicated to you in advance (via proposal, brochure, or invoice).

  • Payments may be made through online payment gateways or other mutually agreed methods.

  • You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes as per Indian law.

  • In the event of non-payment, we may suspend or terminate services to you.

5. Deliverables & Timeline

  • We will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver services within agreed timelines; however, timelines are estimates and not guarantees.

  • Delays arising from external parties (e.g., universities, referees) are outside our control and do not constitute breach.

  • You shall cooperate and provide required documents, information, and responses promptly to avoid delays.

6. Refund & Cancellation

  • You may cancel a service engagement within 3 days of signing an agreement, subject to a refund policy (if applicable).

  • If services have commenced, partial refunds may be given at our discretion based on work done.

  • No refund is available for services fully rendered.

  • All refunds, if any, will be made via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, images, software) is owned or licensed by Uno Consulting and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws.

  • You may use content only for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use (reproduction, distribution, modification) requires prior written consent.

  • Documents, plans, templates, and materials prepared by us for your application remain our intellectual property, licensed to you for your application only, unless otherwise agreed.

8. Confidentiality & Data Use

  • We will treat your personal and academic data as confidential and handle it per our Privacy Policy.

  • We will not share your personal data with third parties except as required to perform services (e.g., submitting applications to universities) or as required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

  • We provide guidance and counseling; we do not guarantee acceptance by any university or outcome.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, UNO Consulting’s liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from services or use of the Site.

  • While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that information on the Site (such as university requirements, deadlines) is always up to date. You are responsible to verify independently.

10. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access or service at any time for breach of these Terms or for any reason without liability.

  • You may terminate by ceasing to engage and providing written notice (email to connect@unoconsulting.in).

  • On termination, your right to use the service ends; we may delete or anonymize your data, subject to legal retention requirements.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India, particularly the laws of the State of Gujarat.

  • Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved via good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be submitted to arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996, with an arbitrator appointed mutually or by court.

  • The seat of arbitration will be in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and proceedings will be in English.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Site or services after the changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
